About Three Dogs Tavern:

As someone who used to live in the Highlands neighborhood - back when a 950 Sq. Ft. bungalow cost about $100K instead of $400K - I actually used to beg the owner of The Spot Bar to please open a place up there. Say hello to my little friend, the Three Dogs, the first place in the zip code where you could park your butt on a barstool, drink beer, and watch football on a Sunday. All day - Bloody Mary through Red Beer through Jack and Coke time. Booya!

The house rule at Three Dogs is Seating Darwinism: No "put your name on the list," no "slip me a 20-spot and you'll be next." You hang out, grab a drink, and if you're like me, you know how to vector in on the table that's leaving next and go hang out next to it.

The beauty of this place is abundant: Classic, original pressed tin ceilings, original hardwood floors, a real solid joint. This was originally a neighborhood store called BJ's Market that served the area since the 1930s. This building has forgotten more about being vintage than most pubs will ever know. Suits to sandals, you'll see it all at Three Dogs.

Open 7 days, 11am-2am

Other stuff: Pool Tables, Shuffleboard, Golden T Golf, Big Buck Hunter
